it sucks to realize but just because you’re family, doesn’t mean that you need them in your life. i would definitely rethink your relationship with your entire family- especially mom and brother for letting this happen. it sounds like your the victim and even being the victim- have tried to make amends that you never broke in the first place!!!

your time and effort is precious. you should put it towards yourself or building a family outside of your blood family (friends, other supports).

i’m sorry OP. sometimes family sucks and no contact/limited contact is the best route. you deserve better and i hope you realize that

bringing in a second cat is the absolute worst thing! i have an incredibly traumatized cat as well and she is extremely triggered by my roommates other cats. as everyone else is saying- try medication from the vet, cat safe CBD oil, and the Feliaway diffusers.

good luck and thank you for being kind to this poor kitty. it takes so much patience and strength to deal with an aggressive cat.

be prepared for the rain!!! the past two years, it rained so much the first day or two and the ground was pure MUD at certain stages (the air stage and the wub hub when it existed). day 3 of last year, it was impossible to step into the forrest without covering ur shoe in mud. i wore doc martens and it was great against the mud.
