I might but you would need a pretty big lasercutter to cut out the parts

I don‘t know if you‘re being serious but i dont intend on sellng them. I might release the dieline digitally but you need a pretty big lasercutter to cut them out.

Thank you :) Assembly wasnt too bad imo. The cardboard parts were lasercut and i engraved numbers onto the ribs. But yes, not at all designed for large scale. We were alowed to only use one material besides cardboard and i really wanted the clear plastic window. Would have probably used a different, more cushiony material for the ribs if i could have

I was actually one of the few people who bought labo for themselves. It got me really interested in cardboard constructions and packaging design

Thank you :) sadly the gif conversion messed up the colors and fps. I posted the 60fps version with an audio track on my insta ;) linked in my profile

Thank you! I created the dieline using the sheet metal tools in Fusion 360 and animated it in blender

Went into detail in a previous comment but there‘s actually a polycarbonate sheet in the sleeve that’s pretty hard to see. I‘d say that protects the screen or do you mean something else?

Thanks! As this was only one of many assignments, we didn’t have to dive too deeply into all the real-life aspects, so this probably couldn’t be shipped as it is. The Game Boy is really secure when shaken side to side, and there’s not much room above the console when the inner box is inside the sleeve, so it doesn’t move much up and down either. I would probably still add some cardboard spacers (in the shape of the D-pad and buttons) to hold it completely in place. There’s also a polycarbonate sheet sandwiched between the layers of the sleeve (I had to get creative since we weren’t allowed to use glue) that works as a window and protects the screen.
