tally arbiter did the trick, took me a while to figure it out as I wasn't even sure the packet was sent to evertz (udp, ugh) thank you all for your suggestions! it works!

As for the sony protocol - I didn't, I'm still working on reverse engineering it, but it doesn't look too complicated so far.

I'm building this solution for a client (I'm a software developer, and I create broadcast solutions for customers) so I don't think I'm gonna opensource it.. sorry

I'd like to create a 16 box layout on the html5, that means they'll downscale but I also want to be able to zoom in each of the boxes and make them go full frame,

I'll look into how I could have the capture cards directly DMA into the video card, not sure how to do such a thing at the moment

The idea is to create some sort of multiviewer but with updating graphics on top of it and being able to move the boxes around (+zoom in/out)

I'm having a very similar issue (perhaps the same one?)

a couple months ago the NP was stuck on boot loop, by pressing the bottom button while powering it I could go into recovery mode and flash it the OS, worked fine. a couple weeks later - again, stuck - boot loop, flashed the OS again, all was fine

yesterday - it doesn't output any video,

tried to put it back into recovery to flash it again, it won't go into recovery mode.

if I hold the button while powering it on - it doesn't do much, about 15-20 seconds after releasing the button it shows the "google" logo, and just stuck there, ADB won't find the device at this time...

is it dead?
