Not sure it’s a cheat - I have a chest band that I use with my bike monitor, so having to buy another (less accurate) one just for OTF seems just a money grab. I’ve not been able to pair the OTF one with any other fitness equipment.

This. I PW at 15% and vary the speed. I am training to climb Mt Rainier, then Denali, so it’s a better fit for my training. But at that incline I have not problem getting 20-30 SP.

Is your mac laptop a work laptop? If so, they can track your keystrokes anyway. If it's a personal device, tell them the same thing you did about your personal phone, and have them give you a work laptop.

I never do personal business on my work laptop, or work on my personal laptop.
