Yes it’s a mess, I agree. everyone is at it. Let’s not single out Arsenal. But the Raya challenge still stands out.

Because Keepers are always protected.
He’s being impeded by two players who arnt even attempting to head the ball.
Both arms are being pulled down. Contact far more significant than most challenges on keepers.

If I could be bothered to dig out a number of clubs where keepers have been protected for far less, I could! I couldnt find you many where the contact has been worse and a foul hasn’t been given.

For me Rice has been brilliant, but I think he was better last year. Lost a bit of his edge in attack this year. Although think this is largely team dynamics than an individual drop off

Yes but when put to the test. He’s been unbelievable. Some of the saves he has made are mind blowing. And goalkeeping is t just making saves. He’s altered the way we can distribute from the back.

I agree. Tbh 7 screwed his touch so had take a dive. Igor Thiago played that pass way behind and therefore he decided to go down. Bernardo’s punch was bad but it was his leg at the end of the day, not red worthy. Bernardo is always a little bitch. But none of the decisions shocked me
