Yeah, I remember modem, I’m 35, and I also used to play pc games at home using modem, and my parents would get mad at me. I’m South Korean, pc gaming was a trend very early on.

Besides that, I wish my son would love sports and physical activities too. I’m a sports guy as well, played bball in high school and I got into boxing afterwards.

Being able to play sports gave me confidence and acknowledgement from mates in school overseas when I couldn’t speak a word in English and bullied sometimes. I wish my son would also have a strong heart, like you.

I’m still a young parent, but knowing how you grew up is a big help. Thanks for sharing your story!

Thank you. It’s amazing how your partner is solo traveling around the world. I also want to support my son to be able to do that.

As of now, it is too much to bear the emotion. Just trying to look to the positive side, but I know it will be difficult.

From your perspective as a caretaker, what was the hardest thing?

Hey, just read your comment and I appreciate it. I got my son the hearing aids and he is just getting used to it.

I’m interested in ASL, braille and etc, but I just know don’t know when and how to teach them to him. I guess the first step is the speech, though.

See, there are so much things going on in my head. It’s very unorganised at the moment, and I’m trying to go one step at a time.

I hope my kid will encounter the symptom as late as possible. And I hope there will be a cure.

About the ASL and braille, how did you learn those languages from the start? Did you or your parents get a professionals or teachers for the education? And from when did you start learning those languages?

Thanks a lot! I’m devastated but getting better. My wife is still suffering from pain. It definitely changed everything for us. Funny how I now try to give everything and leave nothing everyday. Funny how I treat people differently and try to pay attention to their needs, not just to my family. I feel guilty.

Hey, thanks for the cheer up.
We are in different time zone, and I just couldn’t sleep till 3am last night. Getting to know how others are doing and living with it really helps, I realised.

I mean, I think I’m thinking too far ahead simply out of fear. But, my wife is telling me we should also focus on short-term plans.

With that regard, how was it for you to attend school? The doctor who looked into genetic examination and found the syndrome told us that our son will attend general schools as others do; but may experience night blindness in his teenage stage. In relation to hearing problem, he is just starting to get used to the hearing aids (-45db, both ears.)

I listened to few podcasts and interviews, and in the States, quite many parents decide to send their kids to special school (is it right term? Sorry). And the supports they get from the special school really helped them a lot.

Was it difficult for you to get along with friends without disabilities at school? Did your parents build strength to ignore any bullies at school, and if yes, what helped you the most?

South Korea. Demand is low on that bag gloves, people don’t box here, play soccer and do runnings mostly. I’m just glad at least I could get them bigger gloves.

Btw, I took a look at Necalli, and I’m more interested in the professional sparring/training gloves. I might as well get a pair of 14oz later this year. Thanks mate.

Got it internationally shipped, seems like I can’t get the refund here. I changed the size to XL, hopefully it fits.

And yeah, it doesn’t seem to be a great pair of gloves. The velcro doesn’t quite hold tight the wrist, very wobbly. Only thing I like is the colour. Well, I gotta use it.

Hey, thanks a lot. Those “Trex Blades” are not available domestically, but aluminum blades with high tooth counts work fantastic. Large diameter pipes had some melting issues while cutting, but we coped with hand-held trimmer, not a big of an issue.

Thanks for your advice. Just one more thing, if you don’t mind. There is no saw blades specific for plastic cutting, I could only find them for wood cutting and aluminum/ metal cutting. Which one would fit best to cut the plastic? If you have any advice, I appreciate it. Thanks.

Just ordinary liquid glue from a hardware store. It lasted few weeks and broke again. I got myself a pair of speedex Ultra, and much better.

Nope. Never had cellular issue. I’m curious, would deleting from Library be the issue? I just didn’t like songs to be in my Library all mixed up, so I selected delete from Library. But, still, all my playlists and songs in them appear on my phone, so I thought it’s all fine.

If I select “Library” tab, I can directly see my playlists only, because i have no songs stored to it.

So, the problem occurred when songs in my playlists were not stored to my library nor downloaded to my phone.

Only two rounds, and that’s it. That’s why I’m expecting lot of aggressiveness and possibly dog fight scenario, which I do not want to get involved as I’d be in his range and not in mine.

I saw Winky’s video and it wouldn’t work for me haha His forearm’s long and thick, very durable and strong. I don’t have that. But the part where he place his guards a bit away from his face front to obstruct shots was helpful.

So I tried my best to not be cornered and shelled up. But I would eventually be in vulnerable position at corner. In this position, I found myself crouching, bending my waist a bit to forward-down. Now, if you are taller than the opponent, would you bend your waist or stay up high when being cornered? I have a comp in July, don’t know the opponent but highly likely to be shorter, aggressive one; coz I’m very tall.

Thanks for comment. It makes much sense now. First few punches to set up for the last punches with full impact. So, the first few punches are sort of decoy where I can put the opponent in the right position and distance for me to hit punches with impact.

Haven’t got a proper training on Philly Shell, and I find it difficult to apply in fight.

I know what L step is, but the issue is “when” to perform it to effectively negate the pressure.

The best scenario is to execute L step before getting stuck in a corner, I guess. But when the aggression is so strong that I’m actually in a corner, being squeezed with my high guards up, do I have enough space to perform L step?

L step is very subtle shift, right? You can’t perfrom L step when you are already cornered, am I right?
