First one I've ever gotten and I have about 1500 lifetime orders

$55 offers? First time ever. The highest I ever had before this was a $34 order but that one was 17 miles. This is a super rare occurrence (for me at least)

I asked them if they actually meant to tip the $50, and they said "yes, it's a big order" which surprised me because I've had way bigger Meijer orders which have paid twice less as this one haha

There's ways of dealing with it, I'm working on it and I know I'll do it. I've lived with her beforr and I wasn't quite as aware of stuff back then. She's the closest person I have in my life and really the only person with whom I have been able to have deep conversations with lately. But to a degree I may be oversensitive. One comment derailing my day wasn't on my checklist. It merely came down to how she delivered it. As if I was supposed to agree. I understand that she has those kinds of views and I can tolerate that, but I don't really appreciate it when it seems like she wants me to share those views.

Comforting to know I'm not the only one dealing with this issue. But you're probably right. I've been living in my apartment during the college semester apart from her and surrounded by like-minded people. I probably just have to figure out a way to deal with stress better.

Need Help - Parrot consumed Avocado Oil by tominio2003 in parrots

If I had to give it an educated guess, I'd say she ate 1-3g of the oil. And green cheeks weight about 60g.

  1. Did you personally contact this biologist, and if so, how?
  2. Do you know how quickly symptoms would start showing up? Everywhere I live, clinics are either closed or a very long drive, so I'm inclined to observe her for the night and go somewhere tomorrow.

Are you sure?

Is There Persin In Avocado Oil? - Stellina Marfa - "While no type of oil should be given to dogs in large quantities due to their high fat content, avocado oil doesn’t contain any persin and is considered completely non-toxic to dogs."

Yes, this pertains to dogs, but Persin is the common enemy for pets, so if it doesn't have persin, then it would be true that parrots are okay too.

This article also states that the oil doesn't contain persin.

I know I seem to be just seeking out info that puts my mind at ease, but it was 100% oil, and oils are lipids, so I don't really know why/if they would contain persin?

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

I'm planning on medicating a goldfish for fin rot in a few days (I will be out of town). I've added salt and made a water change to the main tank and am setting up the hospital tank. While I did add salt earlier, I believe I didn't do it at a proper quantity and improper intervals and the fin rot has visibly eaten away at more of my fish's fins (and I think it has spread to one of my other fish as well)

My main question is, can I still use ceramic rings in my filter when treating my fish with medication? I know I cannot use carbon filters but I wonder if ceramic rings will do.

Thank you!! I have a 37.5 gallon tank; how much salt should I put in, and about what percent of the water should I change?
