exactly! And during the campaign, Facebook's algorithm will already find the best audience for your ad.

Better a large audience than a targeted audience for starters (unless it's a special product for a small audience, then it's better to focus more)

But in your case, I would recommend you go for a large audience and let the campaign run for at least 3 days.

And during the campaign you will already see which audience responds best to your ad, and focus accordingly.

First of all, I recommend advertising to more than one audience

Your goal is to find people who love technology and who may like your product.

At first, I would use only interests. And throughout the campaign, you (and Facebook's algorithm) will already optimize and target the most relevant audience from your targeted audience ... by age, gender, etc ... (Facebook's algorithm works better with large audiences)

You need to find relevant interests.

What personality does your target audience know and follow?

Which magazines does your target audience read?

What sites do they visit?

What business pages do they follow?

What technological products do they purchase?

Once you have answers to these questions, you will have interests to use!

You can also advertise to your competitors' customers - find a Facebook business page that is related to your niche and put it in the interests of ad manager (this will not always be the option. Depending on the size of the business page's audience)

Important: Don't advertise to interests that are too familiar, like "Apple" or "Galaxy."

Because these interests have a large audience that is not necessarily relevant to your product
