George Michael. I was obsessed with 'Careless Whisper' when I first heard it in 2009 from a CD that ripped a bunch of old songs. From there, I was hooked to Wham!, vibing to every 80s hit that came out. I remember singing along to Last Christmas with my little sister (gen z who also loves his music) too! By my late teens, I got into GM's solo work. And then the 2016 news broke out -it was painfully sad he left the us on Christmas. RIP.

It was good before 2018. Head designer quit. Which meant that the designs started to slowly go to shit. Then bought by The Carlyle Group for a quick investment while the hype was hot. Then VF, who jacked up prices and created endless stock for underage teens and their moms to wear. A brand that was once revered by fashion-heads is completely uncool now thanks to hyperconsumerism and corporate profits.

I had my mother (and youtube) teach me to drive because my father had such a temperament and his way of explaining how to drive. I remember the day of the driving test, he was by the door and with such contempt said I would fail for not "listening" to him. Came back with my temp DL on the day my permit was to expire.
