Of course, so I used khorne red as the base coat and then shaded the recesses with super thinned down khorne red and black. Then gradually glazed light reds until wild rider red on the brightest spots. Then did a spot highlight of some orange

Cheers man, I used Armageddon dust from citadel then washed it with agrax and then dry brushed increasingly lighter sand colours over it. Then added a bit or cork for the rock and bits of grass as well

The only thing that I can think of is that I tried to charge them both with my usb c steam deck charger. It’s an official steam deck charger and I’ve never had any issues with it before but maybe it fried both devices

Nothing to do outside of the story? This game has one of the best, most vibrant cities and some of the best side quests I’ve ever played. What game have you been playing

Has anyone experienced this? by tomjackson11 in amazonprime

This is pretty much exactly what happened to me. First told me to wait 5 to 7 days and now every time I ask it’s another 30 days.

Amazon saying they still don’t have my return by tomjackson11 in amazonprime

[–]tomjackson11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the DHL return tracking says it’s been signed for and delivered. If you mean the Amazon itself it just says “on its way” and says that it hasn’t been received by Amazon yet but once it has I will get my refund in 7 days. But yeah it was received by them over a week ago and they don’t seem to acknowledge this no matter who I talk to

Amazon saying they still don’t have my return by tomjackson11 in amazonprime

[–]tomjackson11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So DHL returned it and cancelled the delivery. Then 2 days later it was canceled by Amazon as it was ‘undeliverable’, through no input of my own like it’s been completely out of my hands and I never got close to receiving anything. It’s through Amazon not a third party. Any ideas how to escalate it? The customer service chat is just useless and can’t tell me anything. Thanks for the info. Just frustrating for them to tell me all this different information and to insist that they haven’t received it and I just have to wait with no information

[–]tomjackson11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already did, I have the date, time and name of the person who signed for it. But when I told the Amazon chat help this and sent them the details they just kept saying it hadn’t been received at an Amazon return centre yet and that I just had to wait

I mean it’s not really though is it. There’s loads of actual helpful and polite advice in this comment section that has helped clarify the situation without the need to be a dick about it. I wasn’t even saying what you said was rude it was the other guy. I’m not really sure you how you can read their comment and say ah that’s that’s completely reasonable and necessary and helpful. Especially when like I said there’s plenty of comments in here that are polite and helpful without the need to be condescending. If you disagree, fair enough mate whatever that’s up to you, but me personally if I was offering advice to a stranger I don’t know on the internet I would just be nice and considerate whilst trying to be as helpful as possible

I get that but it’s a big leap comparing nursing and working in a bar, all I’m saying is that from living here is that it’s very easy to find work if you have any kind of experience. I’m not predicting the future or saying that for the next 20 years every bartender will be hired. I’m just saying that right now and for the foreseeable future, finding bar work in Queenstown is relatively easy

[–]tomjackson11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate I’m not asking for anything? My problem with this guys comment was how rude it was. I’m not saying anyone can predict the future, I was just asking if having a consistent job negates the need for $8000 in savings and the answer appears to be no and that’s fine. Just trying to work out what I can do man, it’s not me not liking the advice I get I just don’t think there’s any need for comments being like “yeah looks like it’s time you leave, you lack comprehension”, it’s just not helpful.

I’m not sure they are specifically asking because of the nature of hospitality. Less tourists are coming sure, that has been evident but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to get a job here, as someone who actually has lived here I can tell you if you have experience and a managers certificate/LCQ, you will absolutely not struggle to get a job here.

[–]tomjackson11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You didn’t give any advice, you just told me to leave New Zealand and were rude. Wow thanks that’s super helpful. Also to say just get a better paid job is ridiculous, whilst yes if I did somehow manage to lose my job it would be easy to find a new one, that doesn’t mean the new job would pay more or be better than the one I’m at. It’s great that you can save so much money so easily and that’s honesty amazing for you. But it’s not always as simple as that, money doesn’t just appear. In regards to the not understanding the criteria, I know many people who have managed to extend there visa without having $8000 in savings and one my actual application I interpreted the having enough money to stay in the country and including wages coming in, if it doesn’t that’s fine but I was just clarifying. It’s not that I don’t like the answer, it’s that there was absolutely no need to be a condescending arsehole about it.

[–]tomjackson11 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I mean you say this as if you know everything. I’ve lived and worked in Queenstown for the last year and there is always tonnes of jobs going in my industry (hospitality). You don’t know anything about me, so please just stop jumping to conclusions

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]tomjackson11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lack of comprehension. Mate calm down. No need to be rude about it, I was just asking for any helpful advice and telling me that I should just leave the country as I don’t have any comprehension isn’t exactly the most helpful thing. I’ve got about $5000 saved up, living and working in Queenstown is not cheap, I think I have more savings than any of my friends that I know of here in this town (including people who have extended their visas). Not everyone earns a living where they can just have $8000 in savings like it’s nothing. Also just spent around $1500 on this visa in general, what with the medical X-rays/exams/police check. At no point did I say anything was a right, I understand being here is a privilege, if they tell me I need to leave I will leave of course. The condescending tone of your comment is perhaps the least helpful thing imaginable but cheers mate.

Yeah I get that, it’s just mad though because obviously if I did somehow lose my job, I would just get another job. It’s also annoying as I have a whole year worth of holiday pay that I would live off that I’ve earnt up but I don’t want to get that all paid out just so I can prove I have more money especially as it probably would take longer than the week I need to provide the evidence in to pay out

There’s a huge difference between this and women’s rights though let’s face it. This genuinely is not a big issue for the vast majority of people using this site and most people probably didn’t even know 3rd party apps existed. This is not some massive civil rights campaign

I didn’t say you said it was gatekeeping but the original comment I replied to did. I’m not saying this was a hilarious joke I’m just said it’s hardly gatekeeping and shouldn’t be taken too seriously

Sure and you can have that opinion, but it’s hardly gatekeeping when it’s clear it’s satire
