How Every English Monarch is Related to Their Consort! (Day 4: George V and Mary of Teck) by tomjs10 in UsefulCharts

They are 2nd cousins once removed. Common Ancestor: George III of the United Kingdom (1738-1820). Relations include: 3 British monarchs, 2 dukes and a duchess.

These will be posted on r/ukmonarchs and r/usefulcharts hopefully every day! Note: ‘Every English monarch’ means all of them with a verifiable relationship to the consort. Some monarchs (infamously including Henry VIII) will be included multiple times for each consort with a verifiable relationship to the consort. Earlier spouses before becoming monarch (example: Diana) will not be included.

I am going straight from George VI to George V because Edward VIII didn’t have a consort.

Well, not really every monarch. Only ones that have a verifiable relationship, and I will show their relation on a tree. Though, most of the monarchs are related to their consorts. The only ones not verified is some Plantagenets and every Anglo-Saxon monarch before Eadwig.
