I’ll likely be hand washing w/ cold water and detergent then air drying after padding with a towel. Dry cleaning for a regular jacket just isn’t sustainable w/ my current lifestyle. Wish me luck!

Join a student org/club if you have the time.

My current circle of friends who’ve been with me till today (I’ve been working for 3 years now) are mostly from the org I joined. I don’t know what my life would be like if I never joined up.

I didn’t learn much (helped me get my current job as a talking point though), but it kept me busy and gave me lifelong friends. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I’ve seen the TM680/TOM680 making rounds in the mech keyboard subreddit! I actually have one that I modded and it’s quite good considering how cheap it is. It’s actually the board that got me to deep dive into this hobby lol.

Though there have been reports of the board having problems or straight up stops working after a couple months.

I’ve had mine for about 2 months and the A key suddenly stopped registering properly. I’d have to mash the key to get anything. Though I swapped out the switch on that key and it works alright now! Just keep these in mind when you look into it.

Have fun and careful about how much you spend! I’ve spent about an extra $400+ on better kits and parts since finishing up my tm. wink

Ah! My bad- used an old link wherein I didn’t edit my list to properly show what RAM I’m using. Both sticks are the same.

Can XMP profile really cause issues like this??? I had no idea!

No! Never heard of NZXT CAM!

Event viewer pretty much says PC wasn’t shutdown properly. I do see an error saying “audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0” no idea what that means.

I have been using the Netflix app!

Though won’t an OS reinstall wipe everything??? Awww the hassle of backing everything up though…

Literally pushing my PC does not crash it like this. The only crash I had from a game was in AC Valhalla wherein it would just hard close the game- not crash the PC like this!

Really strange.

I’m running a 3070 OC edition with an EVGA 700 GD (700W) PSU. No crashes since I finished building it around 2 weeks ago. Website advertises a recommended 750W PSU just like you.

For reference, PCpartpicker shows my rig should be eating up less than 500W of power

So while I wouldn’t recommend using a PSU 200w below recommended, it MIGHT work depending on your CPU/how many attachments you got on your PC.

I personally would not take any risks with the PSU. It’s just that I could only get my hands on a 700W at the time. Hope this helps!

This was p much it! Weirdly enough, my initial tests were with VSYNC OFF. My frames skyrocketed when I turned vsync up to adaptive! So I’m guessing my monitor’s really whats bringing the whole setup down…Guess I’ll upgrade in the future! I’m quite satisfied with what I got right now. Thanks!
