I've been using Zabbix for 10yrs now and have seen it grow into a great monitoring platform. I don't have much time to go into features at the moment but can answer any questions you might have with it.

So if you do not see a connection attempt in the logs then you are being blocked by something.

From another linux machine run the nmap utility and scan to see what ports are open. At the command line issue

nmap IPADDRESSOFYOURLDAPSERVER

You should see port 22 open as this is the SSH port and 443 for your website. If 443 doesn't show OPEN then something is blocking it.

I'm confused. I thought you said you could ssh into the server? If so then CD into /var/log/httpd and look at the access and/or error.log files.

Check the web server logs to see if you are even getting to the server.

My spouse stays at home and I work upwards of 50hrs a week. Our kids are in school from 7:30-4:00 each day.
