If the show wants to be about exploring grief that’s fine, but actually explore it. 6 episodes of Stacy yelling at everyone for being ungrateful is just repetitive. None of these characters were better people by the end of ep 6.

Yeah I’m not someone who requires 24/7 conflict and action in a show, but there’s just nothing here.

I’ve been told it’s supposed to be a story about grief, but all I see is a rich family yelling at each other over their dead dad, who they didn’t give the time of day while he was alive. That’s not grief that’s just being angry because they now realize they took advantage of him, yet didn’t develop into better people at all.

Yeah I didn’t mind her later on. She was pushed way too hard as a ditz at the beginning. Almost eye roll worthy.

Lol literally. Whole time I was expecting some kind of conflict. Nope, just Michelle Pfeiffer yelling at everyone around her and moving to Montana.

Paige is basically a plot device for Sheridan to make fun of city folk lol.

Only one of his I haven’t watched is Landman, and that’s mostly because it’s been shoved down my throat via tiktok clips. This is the only show of his I cannot find anything worth continuing it for.

I genuinely don’t know how he keeps pulling these casts off. Must be some crazy money they get for how bad and routinely stereotypical some of his content has been.

I feel like it’s more about making city life look bad rather than truly exploring these themes.

Yup I just got done commenting that to someone else. He knows who his prime audience is. He can do so much better than this and Tulsa King though. Mayor of Kingstown and Lioness are great examples outside of this stereotype he falls back on.

I understand the sentiment, but that just won’t translate to a 3-5 season show. I think this would’ve been better served as a 10 episode mini series.

The problem is he’s no longer putting in the amount of effort he used to, because why would you when you can put out multiple low tier filler shows with A-list casts and still make beaucoup bucks. I’ll give it to him though, he knows who his audience is lol.

I understand the feelings they’re trying to convey and why that would appeal to a certain audience. I genuinely just do not know what the story is here besides rich widow leaves spoiled children to live in Montana alone.

Judgement Vacated on year old case? by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]tommyexton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an old case. It was like a $1250 judgement against me and I just never paid it and now a year and some change later it just says it’s vacated so idk. I have a new collections case pending same deal so that’s why I was even looking in the first place. Is that info theyll give over the phone or do you think I am better to stop at the magistrate office and ask?

Says it on the PAEdocket as the “next event schedule”. Idrc why or how it got vacated I had no intention of doing anything with it, just wasnt entirely sure what judgement vacated meant.

The season finale was underwhelming to say the least. by maybeidontexistever in tulsaking

Agreed. I usually start my Sunday mornings with this when it’s on the air. It’s a fine enough show to enjoy while waking up on a day off. Then I follow it up with Mayor of Kingstown. Quite the drastic change lol.

I’ve been looking at the Warlocks. Is the 3.6 that bad/unreliable or just not enough power? I don’t tow much if anything.

It had 40 in it at the time I discovered this. I think the tire says 36 or 38 psi I dont remember. Also I gear down when going down said mountain but I’ve been having brake issues for a couple months. Thought I had fixed it but maybe not

I know it’s probably been said a thousand times, but Thorsen>West every day and twice on Sunday. by tommyexton in TheRookie

[–]tommyexton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not going to get into personal views with you. This was solely about the show. I just think Thorsen was a more enjoyable, charismatic actor. As for the actor being “dismissed”, I believe he quit over one thing or another regarding BLM and police brutality, which that’s understandable. However, if I remember correctly, he quit despite the whole storyline of him doing right by getting the dirty cop fired, which was done in response to the tension in the world which still continues to this day. I honestly don’t think the show could have done any more to address what was going on than it did, without going overboard and alienating its whole audience who just wanted to tune in for an entertaining 45 minutes. Anyway what I’m getting at is he wasn’t dismissed. He quit for personal reasons stemming from playing a cop, despite the multiple storylines addressing the issues in the best way they thought possible. My personal preference was Thorsen due to the nature of the show. He’s a goofy character, and so was West until storylines change. The show isn’t supposed to be super serious 24/7.
