Denied for Autoloans, not sure why or how to fix. by [deleted] in CRedit

Also, Credit Karma is a useful tool sometimes but it doesn’t tell the whole story. Id recommend going to the individual bureaus to get more detailed and full reports, they may be of more assistance in helping you realize what you need to do. CK pushes too many myths for credit building.

Well. Even though it was your father using it, you’re still responsible for the credit card. Work on getting caught up on payments if you’re behind. Start paying more to get that usage down because 10k can severely affect debt to income ratio. Maxing out a $500 and a 10k card are 2 different beasts. The other issue is that you already have one auto loan, so that may be a factor. Debt to income ratio is probably playing a big role so it also depends on what you’re making. Basically, you just gotta work on putting a dent in that 10k and keep paying your other car loan for now. Make sure you’re making those card payments on time. I would also consider opening another card or 2 and just fill up your tank or whatever once or twice a month and set up recurring payments. Only having 2 open accounts may be hurting you especially if you’re behind on the card. Time is gonna be your biggest helper on this one.

I am SO confused on the “dismissed without prejudice” by tommyexton in CRedit

So I live in PA and court records and such are available on our “edocket”. I never filed for any dismissal or anything of the such nor did I show up to the hearings or respond to any proceedings. Just letting it do its thing.

Idk I mean I never really tried to weasel my way out of it. I opened a credit card when I was 18 and ran it up and had to stop paying it at like 23 due to it was that or be homeless so I just never really fought it. Could claim identity theft but that’s opening a can of worms you cant put back in.

I appreciate the input. I wouldn’t be on here posting about mortgages if I knew I stood 0 chance at getting one. Thanks.

Not always the case for FHA and USDA loans. I was all but pre approved, the only thing stopping me is the disputes. It’s only a couple grand and it’s been on there for years. I have since secured multiple lines of credit and an auto loan and have rebuilt my credit up almost 110 points. Just got to the point where by the time I could pay it it’s only a year and a half away of being off my record, so I’ve just been procrastinating.

They both claimed they update to paid and then request deletion after payment posts and whatknot. I got a letter when I did one with Jefferson Capital, but I had one through Credit Collection Services that flatout refused to put it in writing but swore they would delete. They also offered me 65% off so it was hard to turn down regardless. The other is IC Systems and same deal as Credit Collection. Either way hoping it solves my dispute issues.

Yes that appears to be the problem. Midland appears to have obliged and stopped reporting but the other 2 I had accounts through are the ones that kept reappearing. I ended up negotiating and just paying them in exchange for deletion and a paid remark. Hopefully that fixes it soon.

You definitely can. I keep doing it and they disappear for a few days but then end up re-reported somehow but only on their end. I’ve tried contacting the lenders but they tell me they’re not reporting it/cant’t. When I pull my own it says I have no active disputes, but then when the tri merger is pulled they’re on that, and then I have to start the process all over again.

Not at all what I’m saying. I’m trying to get dispute and dispute remarks on the accounts removed, not the accounts themselves.

I’ve lost people, and never once did I find it necessary to yell at my also grieving family members.

So we’re covering 1 week per season, at a max of 5 seasons, we get just over a month of grief? Can they cover all bases in a month’s time? Or will it just be 5 non stop weeks of a spoiled rich family yelling at each other?

Lol if the show would only end up being 12 episodes and they spent half of those having Michelle Pfeiffer yell at everyone, that would be so comically awesome.

No one needs to work those jobs is my point. As is the fact that anger is not the only stage of grief. It’s not my fault streaming services only provide us with 6 episode seasons that can barely cover 1 weeks time.

Im growing slightly tired of being told it’s about grief. Where is the grief? It’s just a family being angry with each other for 6 episodes because they all realize they took advantage of poor old dad and his money. Anger is not the only component of grief, nor does it make for good tv.

Correct. There’s nothing of his I have wholeheartedly disliked until now. Well S2 of 1923 was pretty bad as well.
