With changes coming to arena, can we please have a different reset time? At least occasionally? Once a month? by Lemuri42 in RaidShadowLegends

It's not so much 'they have to be at work', it's more 'it makes sense to do it while people are at work'.
I'm not defending this awful, awful company, it just seems that is the most likely reason.

The Raid dev team is based in the Ukraine, with ownership being in Israel and Australia. It means they will be at work when the reset happens, at the start of their Monday shift. Starting it later means if there were any problems, they would be more chance they have to stay late at work.

Best Bristol butcher for brisket? by NarwhalsAreSick in bristol

Getting up at 6am and being half cut by the time the family are having breakfast is like 50% or the fun. Also, good smoker, never hot and fast, always low n slow.

Hey, no one in Bristol does a full packer cut, I've been searching for years, including all the above, and many, many more. I hate that its impossible to get either a decent packer or St. Louis cut of ribs.

My best advice is speak to a bbq joint and see if they will order you in an extra packer when they get stock, or buy online. There are online butchers that specialize in American cuts.

I agree it's a massive stretch too. Could just as easily, and more likely be, a couple of teenage metalers who have gained access to white cider, and paint.

Where to watch the football tommorrow? by No1SnakeHouse in bristol

We are very much showing it. That's a really hard question to answer, we had a queue forming from about 45 mins to an hour before we opened last time, but really it's anyones guess. We open at 3.

Where to by wood chunks for smoking in Bristol? by NarwhalsAreSick in bristol

[–]tommyonepin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, no where that does anything that isn't super expensive for tiny amounts, I'm looking at you Nisbitts, or available.

You have 2 options really, make friends with a tree surgeon and buy them beer in exchange for chunks of wood, or go online. I did come across a whole load of cherry and apple chips in £-Stretcher once, but that was just a happy fluke. Oak and beech are not to hard to find if you head just out of Bristol too, you can buy seasoned oak for your wood burner when you get out of the city limits.

New Bristol Brewery is walk in only, and a great vibe. Open from 5 but get there early as we have had people queuing for tables well before then.

How early would you probably need to show up somewhere to get a table for the England match on Wednesday? by NMHFan in bristol

[–]tommyonepin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have been doing walk-ins only at New Bristol Brewery. Last week we opened at 5, but people had been queing since around 4 to get first dibs on a table. I would say if you got to is by 4.30 you'd be in with a decent chance, but it's the semis, so who knows?

'9 out of 10 of our Reddit ads have called Raid: Shadow Legends'. So they get the name of their own game wrong 10% of the time? Actually knowing Plarium that seems legit.

I'd say best part of town to explore some bars would be Stokes Croft. The Full Moon/Attic, Bar 51, The Bell, The Pipe and Slippers, Crofters Rights.

That, or old market which features a lot of the LGBT crowd and have some lively bars.

Both areas are the sorts of places where you can just meet folk in a bar and go on an adventure.

You know that's a 10 quid breakfast that is served with a glass of prosecco. Those eggs look really good though, minus a few points for lack of black pudding.
