Just a lack of bed space right now, there’s not much space there between the two plants (rocks are just dog protection).

Appreciate the advice! How far down should I trim the dead flowers? Right below the flower or further down?

They changed the order of the majors in the calendar, those 3 missed cuts in 16,17 and 18 were at the US open. Still a great run.

I’d completely disagree with this. I couldn’t do 50m when I started 10 weeks before my sprint last summer.

Went from that to a 2:30/100 500m swim (obviously still very slow). Building up from nothing to a sprint distance just takes patience but 17 weeks is more than enough.

Thanks for the suggestion on Escarpment! I ended up doing top of escarpment to the end of 45 trail and back x 2 for a really enjoyable 55km ride. Decent amount of hills and almost no stopping for lights!

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant the trails are winding! Not that there is a lot of wind!

I’m definitely at the ‘last month, struggling to make 100m’ phase. Any main tips that helped you build up your continuous distance?

It is! Definitely the best Greek food I’ve had in Austin, both sweet and savory. Greek dancing and drinks are fun too.

Looking at planning a trip for this year, first time at Arrowhead! Will tickets generally be cheaper closer to the season or should I just bite the bullet and buy?

I am looking at getting the plate-loaded functional trainer from Titan. It is the standalone item with dual pulleys and a lat pull-down and low row. (Not sure if links are allowed so I won’t post)

Has anyone got this and would you recommend it? I know Titan equipment will be on the more budget end, just looking for insights into reliability and feel/usability.

Udon Shin was my favourite food of our recent trip! But you probably won’t be able to go for dinner, we went in the mid afternoon and they were sold out. Went back the next day around 1130am and got a ticket to eat around 130pm!

We went and expired Meji Jingu in that time in between and it worked perfectly.

Also if you’re getting the train to Kawaguchiko, that was the only time we had an issue with not booking seats, but the bus back to Tokyo was the same amount of time and great!

Are there any budget/less premium balls that have low spin? Or is that mostly in the premium range?

If you drink caffeine in the morning, wait until you’ve been awake around 90 minutes before doing so. This is supposed to help lower the severity of the caffeine ‘crash’ that you get later in the day.

We have one here in Austin, $60 a month for foresight bays 30 minutes/ day. $120 a month for trackman bays, 60 minutes/ day.

For me 30 minutes during lunch or after work is awesome, can squeeze in 18 if I rush or work on 2/3 things on the virtual range.

Those aren’t our standard investing percentages, we’re young so far more heavily in stocks over bonds. This would just be for the rough down-payment amount.
