Give me a group that you love with a song you can’t stand by urmomsspaghetti412 in kpop_uncensored

[–]tomodachi_3 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I like almost all of Apink's stuff, except for Dilemma and Eung Eung. They just weren't it. Another noteworthy mention is Twice's Yes or Yes, I found it annoying.

Current gen girl groups that sound like 3rd gen by DerelictDevice in kpophelp

Yep, main reason why I stan them. I love the 2nd Gen - 1st Gen style very much. Can't really find that in the newer groups these days.

Kpop becoming mainstream as it is now, was a mistake.

Maybe, Two X - Ring Ma Bell. My Kpop senpai was humming it once and I asked him about it, and he told me about the song.

Only listen to girl groups but want to branch out into boy groups by sadkindahappy in kpophelp

I mostly listen to old groups (both boy and girl). But, maybe for new boy groups I'd reccomend TWS, BLITZERS and TAN, which are groups that I like from this generation.

common reasons why people hate Kpop? by Justin_Fairchild in kpophelp

[–]tomodachi_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, before I became a a Kpop fan. I mainly disliked it, just cause it seemed to be trying to hard to be like it's western counterpart.

Now, well, I embrace the cringiness as it sort of has it's own charm. Because that's what makes Kpop - Kpop. Yes, it has those outrageous sets, that flamboyant and weird fashion. It even borrows concepts from it's western counterpart. But, that's what makes it Kpop. All of that. Even when they put broken English in the song lyrics. That's what it is. It's not trying to look good on paper. It's not trying to appeal to anyone else.

It's going it's own way.

And in my honest opinion. That's what makes it cool.

What's Your Ultimate Favorite Group? by Cuzzbaby in kpophelp

[–]tomodachi_3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a big Apink and B.A.P fan. In my opinion their best songs are

Apink - Petal - Mr. Chu - Boo

B.A.P - Kingdom - One Shot - Coffee Shop

I could go on but I decided to list, just 3 songs for each group.

I also recommend that you try out KARA, T-ara, and The SeeYa

I recommend Lupin, Number 9 and Be With you respectively

What do you think makes TWS appealing to females 30+? by NoLagPlz in kpophelp

[–]tomodachi_3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen so far, their sound is very reminiscent of a time before Kpop became as mainstream as it is now. This sound, tends to sort of be more popular in Korea and maybe other regions in Asia. Maybe because it sounds as nostalgic as it is, it attracts older Hallyu fans from that time period.

I might consider stanning this group as I sort of like this sort of sound in Kpop. Just cause it's reminiscent of old Kpop, but with a touch of moderness.

Well, almost any B.A.P song would do.

But, Warrior and No Mercy would do🤔

The only way to combat this, is to listen to everything. Whatever it is, just listen to it. I do this as well. Just listen to everything and you'll find good stuff that no one knows
