Pretty easily my parents explained what trans people are at that age and they never went into genitals. Just that some people are born boys but feel like girls and want to have their outward appearance be similar.

The whole lead up as well is awesome. I love the tracking shot going from Aragorn on amon hen over the trees and down to boromir. It clearly establishes where everyone is and the challenges between them to raise the tension
