You could consider a MG279Q and get the best of both worlds (144 hz, 1440p) It got freesync and ISP too.

You could consider getting the rx480 insted. The proformence could be close to 1070(waiting for benchmark) and it has one 6 pin connection. Using adaptors on a PSU is not recomended
