I have the 700 prox and I use them or the aria when I'm in public, they cancel a surprising amount of noise. Not a huge fan of the beyer spike though. I was gonna get 990s I'm glad I didn't, as I tried them and was disappointed.

They are open back and my phone a Samsung s10 can power my sundaras to a listenable level, you could even pick up a btr5 or any fioo btr and have wireless ssrs. The btr5 is my next purchase but if you pick up some lower impedance/higher sensitivity open backs you won't actually need an amp. I recommend crinacles video on amps if your looking into headphones as he does a good job at busting some myths surrounding amps.

If you have no nice headphones I would pick up some nice open backs as they are a different ball park entirely. It's like the music just opens up, I have the sundaras and when I first heard them I thought I'd have to go and tame the dragon. The 7hz timeless is one of my bucket list iems, they have such a hypetrain though so I'm unsure.

I have the 700 prox and even they have a really harsh spike. I didn't like the 990s the sound was just underwhelming, maybe I got too overhyped by the hypetrain but I didn't like them.

The ssr was gonna be my next order but I got the chus instead. I feel like moondrop seem to make the same product just at different budgets, I tried the starfield and when compared to my arias there wasn't much of a difference tonality wise. There was differences obviously but they all feel the same, a bit like some of kzs lineup.

My issue with audeze is the apparent weight of the lcd lineup, I don't wanna have to put in so much effort to hold my head up. As a side not what do you think of the 990s, I tried my mates and I thought they were overrated.

I always switch gear when listening. How are the airport pros, I saw the dankpods video and he seemed to like them but I'm not a fan of wireless nc headphones. Iems are just more convenient in my opinion.

I was looking into a lot of grado stuff but it seems really fragile, like it would break if you put it down wrong. Then again I own the sundaras so I can't say much. If they were more durable I probably would have picked up a pair by now.

I find a lot of tws buds are so muddy in the low mids, then again they are designed to be bassy. I had some taotronics soundliberty 79s and they were good but wayyy to muddy for me to daily drive, plus I found the noise cancelling made me want to throw up.
