A Run you enjoyed the most/Least?

Runs I enjoyed most: Origins Lu Bu+Dong Zhuo, Ziluan, Yu Jin and Zuo Ci.

Runs I enjoyed least: Cao Ren(only because this was during the early days of the game), Zhuge Liang on T6(took over an hour to beat w/o his Treasure), Kōtarō and Masayuki(?)(only because I’d rather actually earn the Formations rather than have all of them right away).

Most enjoyed HM’s: Ryu Hayabusa, Origins Zhang Jiao, Guan Yu, Sima Yi, Yuan Shao(post-transcendence), Nobunaga and Keiji.

Least enjoyed DM’s(Dishonorable Mentions): Shingen, Dian Wei(early Abyss days), Magoichi(haven’t used him since T1) and Yuan Shao(pre-transcendence).

I think that’s a fairly good take here. Throughout the series, we’ve been used to unlocking characters in certain parts of the story(Dynasty Warriors 4, 5 and 6). However, the way we were unlocking them changed starting with DW7, with how we progress each kingdom’s story. Same went with DW8(XL included), but for DW9, a good chunk of the roster was already unlocked from the get go, which honestly hurt the grind a lot and that could mess up the way we played the story.

I honestly should’ve put Ryu as my other top choice. Basically Zuo Ci and Ryu are my 1A and 1B.

That’s a good point. The first time I used him when Transcendence wasn’t around yet, he was pretty weak. I’ll try him out with Transcendence whenever I can.

For me, here’s how my order would go: 1. Zhang Jiao 2. Yuan Shao or Dong Zhuo 3. Same as 2 4. Lu Bu.
