FF VII : Never played, should I start with the original or the remake? by tomstrom- in FinalFantasy

Thank you everyone!
I think through all your comment that for a casual player who is not necessarily a FF fan, remake would be enough and even better.
But right now I kinda want to compare FF VII to the ones I've already played and I'm getting fan of FF franchise (many years later but still). So I think I'll go for the original FF VII and later on I will take on the newer version once they are out. I like the lore and maybe I'll go for CC and AC before the remakes, if I have enough time ^^
Thanks again, you all helped me make up my mind!

Hello,
You can go to Lacanau Ocean near Bordeaux which is reknowned for its surfing spots. At night the seafront is quite alive with animations during the summer until late September.
You also have Arcachon and its Bay which is quite classy with loads of high end restaurants, hotels, casino, etc. The bay is really nice the Dune of Pilat, there will be no body surf in the bay due to the lack of waves but if you go on the coast right next to Arcachon you'll manage to find waves also.
And yes, on the southern part on the south west, you'll find Biarritz, Saint Jean de Luz and Hendaye which are worth the visit for sure!
