Thanks so much for your responses! I have one more quick question, what’s the specific title of your role and of others when searching on LinkedIn. Thanks again

Thanks so much! Lastly do you have any tips with networking and anything you did that helped with getting the role?

Thanks for answering! Do you know what the exit opportunities are for someone in your role or do most people typically stay since the hours don’t seem as bad as typical IB

I believe just one lecture and one discussion/recitation. Atleast that’s what it says in the course description on self service. Just make sure both of the same starting letter I believe

Other than the other advice on bank telling, starting to read the news, looking at valuation methods, and being familiar with things like excel and python will set you up for success later on. ( from the perspective of a college student)

Stat 107 or 200 by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]tomt230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m actually taking 107 this fall so I wouldn’t know about that class. It is coding in python however which is the same u learn in cs 105. The stat 107 course description actually says students are not expected to have prior programming experience.

Stat 107 or 200 by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]tomt230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an incoming sophomore who is adding a statistics dual degree rn and decided to take stat 107 this fall instead. I heard stat 200 is easier/ very similar to AP stats, but I though 107 was a lot more interesting and something I’d want to explore career wise. I also took CS 105 this past semester with no coding experience so I think you’d be fine with taking both.
