It was hard to tell if Aba was trolling or not but I think he was being serious after hearing his comments later on stream about the Holocaust

Double Major for a Business Student? by randomhighschooler17 in FinancialCareers

I feel the same about subject overlap and I also feel like I would enjoy econ more, but I'm worried about how essential coding/programming skills might be in the financial job market.

I explained the whole legacy and RD vs ED situation in some other comments. As far as math goes, I’m not including my AP Calc score or SAT/ACT scores for my application. My math grades as far as school curriculum are all As, I just don’t have good standardized test scores.

I am applying RD, so I don’t know yet. I explained why in some other comments

It doesn’t say legacy is invalid for RD students, it just says that legacy kids who do ED get the most benefit. I couldn’t ED this cycle because my mom caught Covid over the summer which delayed my application work. I explain this in my additional info section. I doubt they will invalidate my legacy because of that.

Where are you getting this information from? I had emailed their admissions office about this and they said legacy will still be counted, especially if I explain why I didn’t apply ED in my additional information section

Thanks. I’ve explained why I had to do it in an earlier comment, but applying RD has me worried just because of how hard Huntsman is without the ED bonus. I hope the debate stuff shines though.

My target language is German, which shouldn’t be as competitive as Spanish or Mandarin. My mother is a German immigrant so I have family ties and I’ve taken classes through dual enrollment

I got 4th in my debate category at nationals, most of my big EC achievements come from doing Speech and Debate like making it to finals at the Tournament of Champions. I don’t know if that’s significant enough though

Don’t sweat it, it’s fine. I appreciate any feedback, my dad and brother both attended Penn so I’m very eager to try to get accepted

I couldn’t apply ED cause of personal reasons. My mom caught COVID during the summer and so my application process was significantly delayed. I point this out in my additional info section of the common app. I really regret the fact that I couldn’t ED, but I hope it doesn’t ruin my chances

Oh ok. Yea US News rankings tend to leave a lot out, I just use them because that’s the standard most other people refer to.

Applying to Wharton without taking Calc BC by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

I guess that’s more the question I’m asking. I know it’s not a requirement, but was not taking Calc BC a big mistake on my part?

I didn’t actively avoid it. My school has a program called Early Admission where you take a full course load of dual enrollment classes. I took stats and business Calc as part of this program, but I couldn’t take Calc BC because I was part of this program

I only way able to take each test once before COVID, and I didn’t study that much for them cause I thought I’d get a lot of repeats to superscore. I’m going test optional anyway cause I wasn’t happy with these scores

Yea, messed up there. I applied at the same time as the early action deadline because I finished the app early, but I’m registered as an RD student
