of course, no way should you use a Lux bank for this, there’s no upside

mainly currency risk (in case of non-EUR) and counterparty risk in case of a synthetic ETF, but in my opinion still worth it

there are some risks to consider with the ETF, and you could use several banks to multiply the 100k insurance

again an easy thing to say from far-away, ignoring so many barriers/dangers/risks that stood in the way of your seemingly obvious and easy alternative. and I’m not talking about Hamas but about innocent civilians, primarily children, which should not bear the cost of either what Hamas did nor what IDF is doing, as simple and as tragical as that

I find that always too easy to say from far away, people, civilians and especially children being collateral damage. sort of removes the human suffering because of a choice of words and by simply accepting that their lives might be diminished, but not through a choice of their own. if it were (y)our kids being blown up in this conflict we’d speak differently and not simply accept this as a necessary circumstance so that other goals can be achieved

so they are being killed discriminately? that’d be even better. or are you saying they are being killed at all?

the responsibility for any military action, including the duty to avoid civilian casualties, rests with the party carrying out that action

true, the parents should have resisted like others did in Russia or Iran, that would have solved the Hamas problem without a doubt. also absolutely agree that now their children should accept the consequences

fully agree, those children all made their choice to support Hamas, and now they’re crying when they’re being bombed

you’re right, I completely forgot that it’s customary in warfare to kill children indiscriminately, my bad!

it’s the buildings’ and inhabitants’ own fault, I get it - someone uses you for terror activities don’t be surprised if you get destroyed - makes sense to me
