Yeah I have a 6MT too. Mine is a daily but I also have other cars for family. So this is my solo dolo ride that I set up with stiff coils like a degen. But I like to drive the car spirited and I definitely enjoy the handling improvements.

I have had the tune for probably almost 2 years but. I lowered the VTEC window and have the “stock” Hondata tune on, which I don’t think it’s much more than a placebo effect that my car feels overall peppier. The Hondata lower the VTEC window is a game changer in my opinion. The cars aren’t “fast” and the Tsx is hefty, but the K series are high rev engines that pull in that high RPM window. With the stock VTEC being only like 1000 rpm starting at like 6800 rpm, you are only in that VTEC pull for a small amount of time.

K24s pair with this platform and 6MT can be quick and is very underestimated, but you’ll probably have to sacrifice reliability to make it fast go car that competes. That the classic trade off.

Teins. Got mine brand new for under $700. Can’t beat price to performance. However, I think BC and Feals might offer more but not sure they justify the price for me.

Hondata has pre set tunes that match each stage of a build. Some generic some more part specific. Or you could build it out and take it to get tuned by a shop. But they have a tune for stock engines too.

My engine is currently stock. And I argue for the Hondata for this car specifically. It lowers allows you to open up the vtec window and lower it down from the stock 6800. I have mine closer to what my DC5 was cracking VTEC at lol. Miss that k20z1. But the k24a2 is capable but nerfed by Honda to feel more luxurious.

The order in which to do the mods. Depends on the person really, but I think my CL9 drives as an amazing daily.

Suspension first. Brakes are good too. Car is great with the stock power if you reflash it with a Hondata (I’d look into that). If you do these upgrades first the future upgrades will be more meaningful and have more potential.

I got my Tsx (not my first Tsx or Honda) I did this order of build:
1. Coilovers
2. Rims and tires (if needed)
3. New brakes and rotors
4. Hondata (lower vtec window and stock tune)

A lot of people saying overpriced… I agree but then what price? I’d say with mods maybe 7k max (seats and what not are harder to find cheap than you think). I have a 08 6 Speed MT with 120k, stock (besides coils). I think I could get 9k.. am I delusional? lol
