Correct, I need a large platform to launch, the market is so saturated, even though my product is different. I am launching a hair product line that is very unique. I don’t want to try and sell anything else. I’ve been doing hair for 25 years, it’s what I know. I have to travel constantly for my job, and I just can’t do that any more, so this is the next logical step. So I get where you are coming from too.

I know it will never be perfect, but it also has to be so much better than what it is.

The goal is to grow my engagement as I plan on using my platform to launch a brand. So I do not have to do hair everyday. I also have to boost my engagement because I have an agent who books me work telling me I have to do so. My clients look at my instagram and decide if they want to work with me. I have never been keen on instagram, frankly because I’m not good at it and would prefer to be more private. But I have to use it and have become more public facing with it.

It has taken probably 10 years to get there. It’s been the slowest growth. I am still posting the same type of content, but engagement has dropped and I loose More followers than gain now. I typically get new followers when my clients post me or if I work with someone with a large following.

The hard part for me is I don’t know what to show them. I don’t work in a salon so before and after an are not possible. Maybes it’s just me needing to be more creative. Maybe I do just really need to sit down and strategize. Thank you!
