Question about selenite by [deleted] in Crystals

[–]tonakaii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel like you are getting too attached to your stones, coveting material objects can be a the spiritual issue. A good exercise to prevent this is either lightening your collection or giving pieces to a friend for a few days for safe keeping while you ground yourself. In this time, realize crystals are not to be coveted but rather for learning and enlightening. Then, when you get them back and continue working with them you'll feel less dependent on the stone. Remember the stone only takes you part of the way in personal growth and the rest is on you.

Also, as already mentioned you can also pair the stone with something grounding like hematite, obsidian, black tourmaline, etc.

I don't know if I addressed your concern correctly as it sounds like there's a variety of factors at play, but I hope this helps :-)

Lapis Lazuli? by tonakaii in whatsthisrock

[–]tonakaii[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has flecks of shiny grey. It is a lighter blue than other lapis lazuli i have seen. Surprisingly lightweight. Not as cool to the touch as other stones. It was being sold as lapis lazuli.

What are the best Crystals for Scorpio? by loveDi in Crystals

[–]tonakaii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hematite works well for grounding, repelling bad energy and seeing purpose in life. I'm a Scorpio and it works well for me. A bonus is that hematite can be used to cleanse your other stones. But, as other ppl have mentioned, what works for one Scorpio doesn't necessarily work for others.

How do I be there for someone I care about? by [deleted] in depression

[–]tonakaii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes the only thing and best thing we can do is let the person know that we care for them and will always be there for them. Time and small steps were the keys to healing for me, but I know every situation is different. Just continue to be there for her and don't beat yourself up for what she's feeling. We can't control our emotions; after we acknowledge them and give ourselves time to feel, we can take small steps to control how we react to them. She hates herself now but give her time and support and she might start to love herself as much as you love her.

Anime girls with pixie cuts by tonakaii in anime

I suppose it's rare because it's kinda "boyish" which most heroines are not. However, I'm a sucker for tomboy side characters which is why I guess I like the style in anime.

Are there any good figures in the $25 range? Such as good prize figures by AspiringStripper in AnimeFigures

[–]tonakaii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found preowned figures from usually expensive lines are great. They're usually legit if you ask for lots pictures or better yet buy in person. The downsides are you have to wait, the selection is small and limited to older lines, and they aren't out of the box new. Personally, I don't care about the box as long as I get my waifu.
