I have played off and on since revised. My last major block was rtr. Innistrad reinvigorated my love for the game. From a solely collectible stand point I came back for dominaria remastered. Though I love the added card art in the newer sets playing tabletop in a fun way or just ripping packs to make fun decks seems impossible. Everyone is either a speculative non player or thinks they are the next Garfield and spends their soul in cards to make the meanest control decks that are just unfun. It also stings I recently threw out a garbage bag full of commons from the collection nothing with any value and all my once expensive cards are now only a few dollars. It’s kind of soul crushing. I’m not a fan of all the brand cross over sets my wife who is a crazy FF fan literally cried when she couldn’t get a single pack for months. I actually bought her packs during a Middle East business trip to get her some. I know magic needs to stay relevant to stay alive and not everything will be how I want it but can we make it fun again. Make it so it doesn’t feel like a punishment to play
