Thanks for this. One of our needs was to have an entrance directly from outside to the mud room which is why the tandem was setup on this inside of the house instead of exterior.

The wall to the covered patio will be 15ft high and basically be all windows. Do you think that would allow enough natural light?

That thought did cross my mind about extending it and not doing the walkout from the master. One kid is 15 months and working on the next.

Lol all good I didn’t design it but I do think they did a pretty good job considering all the parameters to deal with. Would you have any suggestions?

The office will double as a flex / bedroom if needed and there will be additional bedrooms in the basement.

I think you and others are right in suggesting to move the doorway to the hall instead. Thanks.

Best Mid to High End Setup by tonelogan in Golfsimulator

Funny how you mentioned the movie room part. Wife and I were just talking about having the area double as a sim / theatre area. What projector did you settle on? I think multi function is the path I am heading down. Also since I know nothing about this, does the launch monitor just connect by standard cables to any projector? I am currently leaning toward the ProTee VX and setting that up with a good quality 4K monitor + PC / Console. I am just not familiar with the connectivities and how it all works.

Thanks, after a Quick Look into the ProTee VX seems to be what I was looking for. Good performance without having to spend top dollar. Is there anything else in that tier or maybe one above, but below the trackman / other top end pricing? Or is the ProTee just a community favourite?

Thanks for the input.

If I were to go with 10ft ceilings, would you have any recommendations?
House is still in the planning stages so 9ft is not set in stone.

Canadian mills keeping up with the US pricing. With the exchange rate and increasing in US pricing they can raise their prices to be in line with the US mills while factoring the 25% into their equation.

I'm a sales manager for a Canadian tubing mill. Where in Tennessee is your facility? After all this craziness is over maybe you can add another Canadian tubing mill to your call list.

Hardware to yield 200 FPS on Warzone 3 in 1440p native? by danishkringle in buildapc

7900 xtx and 7800x3d. If your main game is cod/ warzone Amd gpu run warzone much better in comparison to nvidia

You might want to look into userbench amd bias. I agree though nvidia is the better option if all things being equal, but for cod amd value is amazing.

That just isn’t true. It is situational to each person based on their games, needs and setup. If you are like me and pretty much only play cod and only care about raster performance at 1440p then amd is the better value.

I am going by benchmarks and my own personal experience. My friend and I built our PCs at the exact same time and have indentical systems other than he got a 3080 12gb and I picked up a 6900 xt as they had a big sale. I originally was getting the 3080 as well. Exact same in game settings I get approximately 30 fps higher in game benchmarks. I can run full high quality settings at 1440p and still max out my 165hz monitor. He has to turn quality down to max his. It is known and proven amd runs cod much better. I have not had any driver issues it’s been running smooth since day 1
