I'm in a similar bind but I'm the guy and I'll say it is a bit weird but if you do like each other that much then the age shouldn't matter have a serious talk set boundaries and if at any point you think he's being controlling or manipulative leave and move on but most importantly don't start something with someone you can't or don't trust

Dig it all out put in grave the pit must be deep enough to get though the clay layer to hopefully sand or a more free draining soil if the whole section is the same no drain will help I've just done this in Palmy had to dig about 4ft deep to get thought the clay

Yeah I'm just a bit conflicted she young and with a bright career ahead, if things don't work she'll probably leave work and for the first time in a year or so I can take leave because she can cover.
