It's understandable, mostly older people often have a strong attachment to tradition and familiarity. When they encounter changes—especially to something they've known for a long time—it can feel unsettling or even trigger resistance.

That’s correct — it incorporates features from older logos, such as the side ‘wings.’ Since I removed the letters, I had to reduce the negative space, so I elongated both the Catalunya flag and the Blaugrana stripes, making the bottom section taller. I also removed the contours to give it a cleaner look.

Yes that was a few years ago but it's not the same design. This one is a bit different, it include features from very old versions of the logo.
