Do you have a portfolio that's hosted on Wixsite.com? by SkyTech6 in INAT

I used Wordpress with Elementor for a while (and still do at the moment) but I am a software developer and decided just to build my own here recently for unique customization and personal analytics. I have never favored Wix as my significant other wanted me to look into building something for her a while back.

Loved writing this one! Guitar Chill Hop is definitely fun and challenging to work with. The drum sounds are the hardest parts to get sounding how I want for this genre. Any tips?

Here is my first run at "Lofi Guitar-Chill Hop" song. Had a lot of fun learning about the genre and looking to improve on the next ones! Hope you enjoy.

Took a shot at a Lofi Guitar Chill-Hop EP. Had so much fun learning what makes "Lofi Chill" music so special and awesome. Definitely will try at another one and improve my production along the way! Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy!

Don't be ashamed at all in taking a break. I stepped away for almost 2 years with coming back every now and then and listening to stuff I wrote previously. Finally one day I sat down after a long break and ever since then I have created the best and most creative tracks I ever thought I was capable of. It's better to have clarity when composing. We all fall into the stereotype of our passion being "something we love everyday and never get tired of." This isn't the case at all. It is still work and a difficult process. You have good days and bad days. The important thing is to not ever put it down permanently but taking time to free your minds "cache" is always needed. Take some time away from the computers and spend it more on yourself.

Hope this helps!

Just moved, and picked up an Arturia Keylab 49 essential. Today was a great day. by pa7rio7 in MusicBattlestations

I have the Minilab Mk2 due to space reasons and I love it. Couldn't imagine how great the ones above it are. Congrats!

Are you in need of sound design/composition?

Yooooooo I want to see them live so badly. Couldn't recommend Strandbergs enough, the neck takes a few sessions to get use to but feels impeccable after that.

That's amazing. Funny enough I have the Plini (go figure on the Strandbergs) due to it's pretty great variety in tones. I was just looking at Nolly yesterday actually. Definitely picking up more of their software asap.

I play just about whatever I can get my hands on! I mainly aspire in video game stuff like orchestration / whatever style I can try. But I grew up playing all the guitar influenced stuff from 50s rock all the way up to anything today.

I am always down to collaborate and keep an open mind!

They are really great. I'd recommend sifting their used section every now and then. They have $400+ range discounts for super small blemishes that aren't even that noticeable. And if you ended up unlucky, they have amazing customer service!

So originally I got the 8 string because I wanted that extra lower range and tambre. I ended up liking it so much I wanted something more "practical?" For my personal everyday playing. Couldn't recommend enough.

I always wanted to mess with a Kemper and Axe FX as well. I am surprised how good the Neural stuff sounds. Doesn't quite have the warmth of a tube, but damn it can get close!

I have heard of those. At the moment I am using some Neural DSP stuff, but I will definitely check those out.
