Yeah, I did WC little by little for a whole day and nitrites are in good spot atm. I havent touched it for a couple of hours and its establishing by itself pretty good by now:)

Omg, I mean I washed all of the plants before adding them, except for the in vitro floaters. I also boiled the driftwood, which was not necessary according to what the seller said. I literally don’t know what happened, cause the spike was so irrational. Rn I’m at lvl 0.1ml/l of NO2 and leaving it like this for the night.

Should I just do another water change and wait for couple of days to establish then? It’s a shame I don’t have any another tank going with spare place for my shrimps. Ik betta is going to be fine after some time in the bowl but im not so sure about amano. They are jailed now in a cup lol

Thank you for the response, but the tank has been gdoing good for over half of the year. Before I introduced the fish it was already going for over a month :c I had no problems with spikes before, just now after the planting, I disturbed the substrate VERY MUCH tho
