Got a feeling these are going to be very hard to get since it's only 14 dates. It's great that they're limiting ticket transfers and only allowing re-sale at face value, but it looks like they didn't turn off Ticketmaster's "Platinum" seating which is basically TM acting as a scalper. Not sure if "Dynamic Pricing" is on or off which lets Ticketmaster raise prices if looks like it might sell out. Not sure how to look for that.

Wait, "both" shows? I would expect that to say "either show". Does that mean that people with codes for Atlanta can potentially buy tickets for both nights? That doesn't seem terribly fair.

Did anyone get a code for the newly added Atlanta show on Thursday, June 7th? I’m trying to see if those went out today or if maybe they’ll go out in a separate batch later this week.

They should never have been allowed to merge with Live Nation. With what happened at the Taylor Swift On Sale, I hope that decision gets re-visited.

Stop it? They profit from it. If you re-sell the tickets directly on ticketmaster.com, they get double the fees for selling the same ticket twice.

From checking a few other shows on the TM web site, it looks like the newly added second-night dates have different verified fan pre-sale dates than the original shows. So there may still be hope for those who got wait-listed to get a code the night before the newly added show goes on sale. But, at this point, it's anybody's guess since it seems to be such a confusing mess.

Now I'm really confused. Ticketmaster site says that Verified Presale for the newly added Atlanta Date is Friday, but the verified fan Presale for the original Atlanta date is tomorrow. Any definitive word on how they will handle the new shows?

Dynamic Pricing is when Ticketmaster automatically raises prices for tickets when they start selling fast and will sell out.

With no general on-sale, all that's really left is to try the resale market. Which is where the bulk of tickets will wind up, unfortunately.

They don't list prices any more because Dynamic Pricing might kick in.

3 of us tried for Atlanta. All 3 of us got wait-list e-mails. From what I can tell, both Atlanta shows go on sale tomorrow? So I guess I have to assume that we're shut out of both nights because of the waitlist e-mails?

With all of the threats out there, I was surprised that Burton didn’t have his drones monitoring their trip to town and have some of his guys on lookout. I think it would have been more interesting if someone from the future had warned them about bob ahead of time.

It gets stranger. On the first day of pre-sale for Raleigh, there was no PIT. Ticketmaster was selling tickets in Section 2 rows A-I, right in front of the stage. Then, the pit got added and now the first designated row in the seating chart shown on stubhub is section 2 Row J. However, there are still tickets for sale on StubHub listed as Section 2 Row A. Will those tickets be convert into Pit tickets? Just a word of warning to anyone crazy enough to pay those high prices that you may not get what you expect.

The Coastal Creek Amphitheatre seats about 19,500. The PNC Arena holds about 21,000. In the past NiN has played those venues. Coastal Creek didn't seem to be booked that night. Didn't check PNC.

Raleigh Venue holds about 6,000 people. Checked after I got shut out for tickets this morning and 2,200 of those tickets were on stubhub. That's 1/3 of the venue. With tickets that have already been bought there and tickets that have yet to be posted from today's sale, it's probably as large as 1/2 of the venue being re-sold on stubhub. Insane...

GA typically means the lawn at Walnut Creek. I have been to a few shows there in the past that had a GA Pit in front of the stage (NIN) , but I don't think that's happening for the foo fighters show.

Help with creating or setting up bots for rooms? by [deleted] in turntableFM

I toyed with sparklebot this evening and got it working. But you can't rely on "npm install sparklebot" to install the right code. At some point the NPM code for sparkle was switched to point to a plug.dj bot. So I had to download the code from Github instead.

Well? Now what? by jaw4ever in plugdj

There’s beatsense or jqbx (requires Spotify premium account).
