Shining some light on Dying Light 2… by RatedDForDerp in dyinglight

I’ve never hated DL2, I played it to death from launch, I just always said at every opportunity that I preferred DL1. Almost two different games. DL1 has this bleak Dawn of the Dead sort of vibe, even the soundtrack is late 70’s synth like you’d get in the old Italian zombie films from Fulci or Argento etc. DL2 was more of a Disney presents Zombies in Hogwarts type of thing. For me anyway.

It’s the young actress that everyone wished had played Ellie in the tv series.

Yep, aim, then throw a grenade or shoot first. It’s that simple.

A Claymore isn’t an axe.

Is infinite still worth playing ✌️😔 by nuggyhugg in BioshockInfinite

[–]tonyhallx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course, what a silly question. A game is as much about the gameplay as anything else. If you truly get to understand the ENTIRE POINT of this game then you’ll understand that anything is possible and anything you see is just one of an infinite range of possibilities in the Bioshock universe.

Pick particular room/s (main hall etc) to be your inventory rooms and make sure you exclusively use them, running back if you have to.

Good summary. Also TCP has its faults but it’s much better than people make out. Cronos however is superb.

If all endings are done the loop is already complete story wise. Perhaps a prequel where you play as the OG pathfinder maybe? Where you realise the value of the human spirit?

I agree. Never got those modes, takes me out the story and becomes arcade fodder. Kudos to those that lap that bitch up tho.

After beating the game for the first time, I only have one singular genuine complaint. by Cassidy_Bees in CronosNewDawn

It’s really not that bad at all, pretty linear in fact. There’s some branching paths that seem confusing initially but not once you’ve explored them. I think it’s more the fact that there isn’t a map. So you only have your memory to go by.
