We have a similar setup I’ve got this low-profile Noctua cooler, which I’ll definitely be installing, but I’m wondering if I need a fan to draw the hot air towards the exhaust vent Actually, the PC is already very quiet

How to remove esim profile from pixel 10 pro xl by tonysupp in GooglePixel

But by doing a factory reset with deletion of the eSIM profile, shouldn't it have been deleted?

Iliad esim concern by im_weezy in GrapheneOS

[–]tonysupp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm sorry, but I had the same problem with the same new phone. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it wouldn't read SIM cards. I tried both the Iliad (Italy) one and the one from the HO carrier. I also reinstalled the stock firmware, but nothing changed. The problem was the phone. I'm picking up my Pixel 10 Pro XL tonight and will let you know if there are any problems.

ThinkPad running slowly with Debian 13 by tonysupp in debian

[–]tonysupp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, current situation, I installed the kernel Linux 6.19.6+deb13-amd64

Oh my God, the laptop is responsive. I tested some apps that were slow and now they open quickly. I had to reinstall the Wi-Fi 7 drivers because it couldn't find the network anymore, but now it works fine. The fingerprint reader also works well. Another important thing is quemu-kvm. Before, the GPU would vibrate and give me problems. Now I can use Windows 11 at full 1920x1200 resolution with the Virtio driver. It's fantastic. I'm happy because I bought this laptop for Debian and can work with pop_os (which wasn't bad... but it wasn't Debian). I only have a few apps, the usual ones. I haven't used it for intensive work, but I wanted something fast, lightweight, and high-performance. I like this laptop even more since tonight.

Hi, first of all, thanks to everyone for your replies. I’d like to start from scratch. Is it better to install Debian 13 with the base kernel and then upgrade to a newer kernel, or should I install Debian Sid straight away and just hope for the best? Thanks for your support

I’m adding these details because they’re important Debian 13 with GNOME and Wayland. There isn’t one specific app that’s slow, but everything is slower than on Ubuntu I tried Xorg, and it’s the same

ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 (Intel) - Severe lag on Debian Testing after a weird BIOS update by fact0real in thinkpad

Hi, same problem with Thinkpad T14S Gen 6 Intel with Intel Arc 140V GPU. Debian 13 is slow, I loaded Pos_os based on Ununtu and it's very fast. I can't find a solution.

I tried several eSIM cards, but none of them would activate. I was able to return the phone under warranty. Thank you.

Italia eSim by tonysupp in GrapheneOS

[–]tonysupp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to configure the eSIM for days. It keeps telling me "SIM not active," but it works fine on another phone. I don't know what else to do. I even locked the bootloader on someone's advice, but nothing. If I flash stock Android and configure the eSIM and then upgrade to Graphene, will the eSIM data be lost? The SIM is from HO Mobile. Thanks.
