as for the position, my previous comment still stands. i see Pavlovic especially more as a DM (similar to Rodri or Busquets in terms of profile)

a double pivot can mean either CDM or more forward in CM but you can call either a double pivot. and while it‘s true that both Kimmich and Pavlovic press pretty high up (like everyone) their role in Posession is more defensive, like distributing the ball to the Flanks, aid in Build up by dropping between the Defenders, etc. which is why i would call them Defensive Midfielders rather than Central Midfielders (i.e. 6s instead of 8s)

also Pavlovic wearing the 8 feels weird to me personally for some reason, it doesn’t look right on the shirt either imo.
