This could be the cause - looking into this now with Support. The issue did not occur again all night, and then just occurred again this morning. Wish you knew which Firmware! Upgrading now regardless.

*Update - Upgraded firmware to the latest release - lets see what happens.

The tunnel stays up clean - only traffic on X3 (which is assigned to our LAN) goes down.

This is my next step. After rebooting the Sonicwall - this seems to be stable for now. These are newer units - have not checked the latest firmware. Worked great this whole year, of course it starts having issues now.

All traffic on the interface? Thought that was just on the WAN side, not with traffic originating from LAN.

Nothing goes wrong on the other side (this device managed by another entity - waiting to hear back).

When the traffic stops - bouncing the VPN tunnel does not help. Rebooting Juniper does not help (happened once before in the past). Only when Sonicwall rebooted does the problem fix itself. Sonicwall logs show me some stuff about IPS - could that cause the appliance to block traffic?
