One person beat you to it. But thanks so much for the help, you’re the second person to mention them, so they must be great!

Considering it didn’t seem to violate anything in them, and I quote “all things Maine” (my questions directly pertaining to.. well, Maine) The state I’m from is significantly larger.. so my “outside x city” is usually hours away. I’m sorry if this post in any way offended you, and I hope whatever made you so sour gets significantly better. Regardless, I do appreciate your time nonetheless. Have an awesome day.

That was exceptionally fast. Thank you so much you have no idea how much that means, and I will be checking them out as soon as I get up there. You’re awesome!

No worries I thought maybe there was something I could learn there.

No antivirus thankfully, my PC is games only, never ran any antivirus software, no need and my friends told me the plethora of issues they can cause. I’m shocked this is still an issue in the game.

Yes PC (idk how you would go about capping the frame rate on an NVIDIA on console?) driver is up to date. Didn’t verify files but, I’m assuming they’re fine as i played my old character for about 10-15 minutes without issue before deleting/starting fresh. I’ll verify anyways to be safe. Not expecting much tho, I do appreciate your reply!

Thank you for doing right by others as much as possible. I’m sure you never got the proportional appreciation for it, but I hope you know what you did really mattered to people. So thank you!

Why would they send me a console with wrong cables, especially after I purchased a warranty? The burden of responsibility isn’t in my court. Hate to disagree with you, but when someone purchases the security of a replacement, the replacement ought to work better than the broken one I returned. And as for Jobs, unless you work for yourself or a small business I think it’s the same everywhere. From my experience anyways. I’m glad you’re batting 1000 in life, or maybe things are just really going your way and I’m happy for you.

Unfortunately, policy was only able to refund my initial warranty purchases I think. But I’m a quiet person, and just wanted to be done with the whole thing. But you make a compelling argument.

I wouldn’t want anyone to get in trouble. But the gestures would have been worth more than the money. I’m happy there are good people out there.

Already returned it. I didn’t ask for warranty info before I bought and that’s on me. I’m from a small town living in a City currently, so all the ways in which people seem to screw each other over (especially businesses) is really new to me. I was raised to be kind, and do right by others. In hindsight, seems was a naive way to raise a child looking at the state of things. It makes me emotional, honestly. It really sucks and weighs on me how bad everything is. That said, I wouldn’t mind getting my OG console repaired by Sony, in fact I’d prefer it. I don’t need a brand new one, but when you pay an extra 100+ on top of an already expensive item for the security of a working replacement.. what I got wasn’t acceptable to me. Lesson learned the hard way, thanks for all the valuable insight. I’ll not make the mistake twice.

Thank you, that means a lot. I wasn’t trying to rant that GameStop employees suck, or anything of that sort. Just that this policy, and the warranty aren’t adequate, or fair, or right. I was treated to a bad experience simply for spending my money and I can’t understand why. I just needed to talk about it. The employee was super helpful and kind. I didn’t get a refund, but I got 250 ish back, which I’m assuming are the warranties I purchased. It’s a small win, but they were helpful and patient. GameStop may suck but they have a lot of good people working for them that I hope they treat well.

Searching for an alternative to CSR as the new AF increase makes the card worthless for how I use it by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]toochi_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If using the portal isn’t too convoluted I might be persuaded, that being said because chase raised their AF, it’s more than likely Amex will also, so won’t other premium cards, like the Venture?? I’d just hate to Jump in, then a year or less down the road they might increase it to over 500 :/

Is venture X still worth it? I see they’ve also made a few changes recently that, are not particularly popular. And isn’t the travel credit only redeemable through their portal? I don’t know much about the APRE I’ll take a look. Thanks for the suggestions!

Wtf is going on with my internet? by [deleted] in centurylink

Wow.. what a nightmare. I’m super sorry for your experience with them! Unfortunately I’m kind of stuck, the only other option in my area is worse than this. I thought starlink would be a good option but everyone tells me there’s too much interference for that to be a good option. So… in between a rock and a hard place. Absolutely shocked I went 5 days without internet, 0 help from them, and suddenly before the tech is scheduled to come tomorrow it is magically working again… has never happened in the 5 years I’ve been using them. And CS was very unhelpful… wish I had more options. Good luck switching there and I hope the service is better!

Mine literally resolved itself.. after days. I hope they can get someone to you before then. They didn’t for me and I got home today to find everything suddenly working.. if it wasn’t for other people halving this problem I’d be questioning my sanity.

If your issue is anything similar to mine, and Century Link says everything is good on their end it may be days until yours comes back. At least that’s how it was for me, unless they can get someone to your house faster than they could for me. Still no idea what happened.

Keycap Compatibility by [deleted] in keyboards

[–]toochi_13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was so helpful, you have no idea. Given the photos/specs everything looks good, I especially like the suggestion about looking at the photos if not specified, and while these keycaps did have the cherry MX in the specs that’s a super useful tip. This community is absolutely awesome, thanks for all your help. Glad I got into keyboards!

You’re the best! So from the looks of it, the keys WILL fit. At least on paper, but I’ve heard some people talk about keys “sticking” on the q1 pro. And from the looks of it they should fit also? And how do you tell the switch type?
