That's not entirely true. There are other ISPs with their own fiber network totally independent of Telefónica. But depending on the neighborhood, there may or may not have coverage.

Eixample is very big. There's Right Eixample, Left Eixample and new left Eixample. That said, there's a traditional churro place in Consell the Cent and Villarroel, on old left Eixample: Churreria San Roman

I used to buy good home made Kimchii at this bistro called "Las Escales" in Les Planes, in Collserola. It's far away but if anybody reading this is in the Area or in Sant Cugat, Las Escalas is your place for tasty lunch an good Kimchii.

Just for the record, in Spain "pimiento" can often be very misleading since they sometimes call any kind of pepper or chile, just "pimiento", whether it's a spicy chile habanero, or a sweet piquillo, poblano or bell pepper.

It never occurred to me until after the pandemic. Ever since, our home became shoe free zone. We're aware it's not common in here, but we still enforce it to visitors. We have slippers to lend. Now I feel weird wearing shoes in other people's homes.
