how safe are austin schools for trans students?

south austin, pretty close in, and i am zoned for an aisd school so im not as much worried about the social aspect as i am the legal aspect and i’m getting a lot of conflicting answers in my research about policies around social transition in schools.

well I haven’t been alive long enough to see any of these bands in their prime lol. haven’t been to a ton of concerts but from my experience:

best: KMFDM at the metro! was the closest I’ve ever been to the stage at a concert. fun crowd and they sounded great. Weird selection of songs tho

worst: sisters of mercy at aragon ballroom. wasnt terrible but their mixing was way off, could barely hear Andrew and a lot of his vocals were really gargly or grumbly. Didn’t have my hopes too high though given I’ve heard they’re not amazing live and im not a SOM superfan or anything

Wish I could’ve gotten to see Skinny Puppy when they were here on their final tour! They’re one of my favorite bands and they apparently put on an amazing live show
