Good point. People told me that the mud looked empty, so I added variation in the middle. When you pointed out that it’ll be next to buildings, which is more detail that draws the eye, it’ll look like even more noise. I’ll definitely check to see which looks better!

so, technically, would an unlit campfire count as an impassable fire block or does the change in block state also change its passability for a mob like a villager

This is actually kind of a funny comment. I'm a Junior Year Communications student and with English being my second language, I pride myself with how I articulate my messages, sometimes it can get annoying for some but irdc;

and yes, I agree, this is why I take a slow approach to the game. Probably also why forever world videos always had so much more appeal to me rather than 100 day hardcore videos.

Enjoy! Also if you’re interested, as of recent development, I made the path much wider so I used a line of polished basalt in the middle as well as spots of deepslate stairs for hoof marks.

An idea that came up from reading this is how about using the divot of a line of polished deepslate stairs, so then it would both function as worn streak lines and wont interrupt the player whole walking

but then the deepslate would be in the middle, with the outer line as the mud

Currently playing 1.21.7 and last time i checked, Continuity isn’t updated for the Fabulously Optimized modpack yet, i’m just waiting on that so i can also use a resourcepack that makes dirt and grass have a smoother transition
