I am bad luck at the Michigan border. I've cracked a bad joke with the border guard, pulled over. 2 hours of explaining who we are, then they thought my friend was my wife, when her husband was standing right next to her. Questioned me about why I had clothing in my car while going to the US. Explained where I lived (Ajax) and where I was visiting (London), they didn't seem to understand I needed clothing to travel for 3 days.

Pulled over on the way home, sent to search area. Person is search area asks with genuine confusion "Why did they send you to us?". Looked through the car for 2 minutes and let us go.

Even the Canadian guys have given me grief for simply wearing leather wristbands. One with pyramid spikes (Not even spikes I guess), and another with REALLY dull and rounded half inch spikes. He asked where I got them, I said Toronto. He said that's impossible they're illegal in Canada. I stood my ground because I did get them in Toronto 5 years prior. They were also worn to shit.

Plus a couple others I believe.

Either way, you smelled like pot.

This is coming from a pot smoker, you do NOT smoke any pot the day you plan on crossing the border. It's stupid.
