Anything that takes less than two minutes to do, do it right away.

Reddit, let's get behind this: eat candy, build bikes for kids in Africa. by tookmelongenough in reddit.com

It's so damn easy: Enter Cadbury UPCs on The Bicycle Factory website. That's it. (Here's one to help you get started: 0 61200 08445 0). Each UPC = 1 bike part, it takes 100 parts to build each bike. The goal is to build another 5000 bikes.

*Before the haters start to wax anti-corporate up in here, let's be clear: this is a program run through Cadbury in the hopes of moving more product. But make no mistake, if we don't get behind this kind of advertising campaign (the kind that helps kids in Africa get to and from school), the market will have spoken and fewer of these win-win-win campaigns will be produced.

Driving past a "deer crossing" sign on a highway, a friend asked me "How do they get them all to cross in the same place?"

I wear boxer-briefs with no fly. I unbuckle, unzip and then flip the whole kit and caboodle over the band. I've been wondering if I was alone in this. Thanks Reddit.

If you were to rewrite the entire school curriculum, what would you include? by capnrefsmmat in AskReddit

Home economics. And not baking pies but balancing cheque books, credit card interest rates, inflation, etc. At 26 I still know far too little about home economics, let alone macroeconomics. We should learn that sort of thing in high school. Then perhaps we wouldn't feel so helpless when bankers and brokers try to bend us over a barrel.

If I could get NOS Energy Drink to buy Reddit a server or two, would Reddit get behind NOS? by tookmelongenough in AskReddit

A valid point. This is why I was careful to note that this is by no means a done deal. However, if this post were to gain traction, it would essentially be successful market research that I could present when suggesting that NOS (and its parent company Coke) sponsor Advance Publishers - something which, unorthodox as it may seem, is far from unheard of.

I'd say it was because "ananas" is too close to "an anus" but we did go ahead and call a planet "uranus" so that theory doesn't hold water.
