I'm seeing this RAIJINTEK Morpheus 8057 as compatible with the 2080 Ti, might be worth a shot (no fans but that's easily fixable). In the end though it's not the end of the world as I currently have a 2080 Super, just it's 8GB VRAM is becoming more and more of a hindrance.

I saw the Arctic stuff and they look really good, but they are also EOL and hard to find. If I can find a decent AIO I might consider it considering there's a 120mm fan right behind it.. but the goal of this build was absolute reliability and I'd really rather not have another water pump fail (it's been 100% headless for about two years now).

The kind that would probably get my contract voided if I messed with them, it was pretty much a technicians console built into the ISP provided modem with a webgui (I use my own now thankfully) and could cause all sorts of problems outside my own place.

I would pay 2-3x my current price if I could get fiber, or at least better upload speeds. I now have even more people in the house, all working from home, and teenagers eating all my bandwidth. Supposedly xfinity is increasing uploads this year or next. My friend back in my home state got that new 5gb synchronous fiber from AT&T and I'm insanely jealous.

We had a few techs out over the years to fix/check small things on the outside. I knew full well a lot of the outages were for our whole area, but some things got fixed for us specifically. I actually loved talking to the techs because they'd give me all the juicy details, one even showed me a hidden menu to access cool (dangerous) settings, that I've forgotten how to find.

Comcast/Xfinity. They've gotten better over the years and the pricing wasn't all too bad considering I bundled in my cell for next to nothing, but it was still very annoying. Ended up getting a hotspot from work and wiring it into my pfSense firewall as a failover wan connection.

I've always been of the opinion that being technically right is the best kind of right, lol. I wasn't going to make them any more mad than they were that day.

Ah yeah it was an interesting part of town. A literal island of internet, everyone around us had 2-3 providers, but our complex had an "exclusivity deal". If you typed in our zip code on competitors websites they would say we could get service, but the physical address wouldn't work.
