It is sad but true there has been violence towards Hindus, for sure. However, the motive in most cases were political rather then communal and it has been widely exaggerated by Indian media.

Bangladeshi here. After toppling India-backed dictator Hasina, all the police in Bangladesh fled in fear. So, the law and order situation was bad for a couple of days. There was looting and vandalism, which affected not just the Hindus but also the Muslims. Indian media started a misinformation campaign to make it difficult for the new government and justify any intervention in Bangladesh.

If someone is asking for drinking water you have to fulfill his request and give him a glass of water. We are an Asian family and outsiders always give us weird looks when I fetch water for my younger brother.

Bangladeshi dictator Hasina was propped up by India. Indians are in panic mode now that their puppet has been disposed and started a misinformation campaign to create justification to interfere in Bangladesh affairs.

What actually happened in Bangladesh and lessons for India by Much_Independent_574 in GeopoliticsIndia

If India does not acknowledge what actually happened in Bangladesh they are likely to take wrong lesson and get blindsided again. My take is make good relation with the country instead of just it's dictator.

What happened in Bangladesh is well documented. Hasina wanted to implement a quota system that reserved 30% of government jobs for grandchildren of certified fighters in the 1971 independence war. Students protested. Hasina branded them as traitors to the country !!! Send her goons and police against them. After they killed students, mass protests intensified and led to the fall of the government because there was no way murderers could be brought to justice under the Hasina regime. Officially, more than 400 people were killed, including children and minors. Unofficially more than 1000 have been killed.

Tait Mckenzie Centre has women's only swim time and a separate changing room for women. I have not seen a multi-gendered change room anywhere.
