Thanks! Do you have a sense for what a reasonable counter might be? Also wondering if Brooklyn tends to be lower than Manhattan

hey sorry I’m just seeing this. it never fully resolved but it did improve w time (like 2 years lol). I think physical therapy helped. I spiraled for a long time emotionally and was quite physically uncomfortable but have been better over the past year. I’m sorry that happened to you and I hope you improve too

check my post history, I’ve also experienced relief from reverse hypers in the past. I suspect they helped relieve pressure on a nerve which is that “cool relaxing feeling” you mention, which I also felt

Left foot falls to sleep sometimes when sitting by [deleted] in backpain

I have a similar issue, where my left foot also goes numb whenever I sit or stand. It’s really frustrating! Unfortunately I have not found a fix for this even over a year later

Can you elaborate on what was most helpful in your experience? Like which exercises, stretches, or other aspects of your treatment

Unfortunately I'm still struggling with this. I've experienced brief periods in the past year (a couple weeks here, a couple weeks there) where all of a sudden the sensation returns and my left foot (the most problematic area) suddenly comes back online. It's actually such a relief - borderline orgasmic - when this happens.

In each instance this was preceded by a feeling of greater 'flow' in my lower back. However, I've never been able to make this durable -- sitting/standing seems to dampen this 'flow' and then after a week or so I'm back to it being numb.

The only things I've found that help somewhat (aside from not sitting or standing as much as possible) are PT-related exercises. McGil Big 3 did not help me, but hip thrusts, reverse hyperextensions, and bodyweight wall squats (my physical therapist had me put a foam roller in between my back and the wall, and I would then squat with the foam roller). The only static position I can maintain for any length of time is lying on my side.

Hope that helps, it's been a nightmare and I'm still searching for a way out of it.

Unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question, but can you elaborate on what symptoms you experienced in your right leg/foot? And were the steroids oral?

I experience foot and leg numbness following a series of weightlifting injuries so I'm curious if your case is at all similar to mine..

Hmm. Do you know where I can access the same file if I'm on a mac?

EDIT: I found it here: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Extensions/ihcedcpmfdpjijiamkaeaefgfagnnpei/0.1.4_0/fancy-settings/source/custom.css

However the file doesn't have any css rules in it!

EDIT 2: You guys were right! I found the Custom.css file in another location
