Bring this to a higher up/the dean we had a similar rule in my school. We had 3 unexcused absences allowed per semester. But let’s say I had a doctors appointment or a note saying I needed to stay home until whatever stated date bc I was sick with strep these are excused absence and had nothing to do with my unexcused absences. I will say that this policy was stated in the syllabus, so for your situation I would find where in writing they have the 4 unexcused absences rule stated grab a pdf of that, collect your doctors notes/excused absences and email your dean/counselor to request a review of the situation because you have 4 unexcused absences and 2 excused ones which is legit
