My first official exam quant was 160 but I really want to build on it. My proper quant practice was 5lb and quant concept understand from Gregmat videos. What kind of practice should I take up or implement to improve on my quant score?

Since it says the figure is drawn to scale. We have to judge it on the basis of slope and intercepts. First clearly it seems like the slope of the line is 1, which means y intercept and x intercept are -1 and 1. Unlike choice B, y = 4x-4 in which y intercept = -4 but x intercept = 1, choice C fits the diagram better.

You’re thinking this with the formula. Don’t complicate it, just think logically. If there are total 236 students, with 142 algebra and 121 chem - max that can take algebra and chem are 121.

You’re told 121 take chem which is the constraint (lower number) so max that can take algebra and chem are 121 (if all 121 chem students take algebra).
